Fenty Beauty Undefeated & Unattached Stunna Lip Paints Reviews & Swatches

Undefeated

Fenty Beauty Undefeated Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color ($24.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a deep purple with subtle, neutral-to-cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It seemed to have the most minute amount of sheen for the first half hour to 45 minutes of wear. The consistency was fluid, and I felt like the applicator yielded way too much product per application, so I’d be careful to wipe away excess on the lip of the bottle or use a lip brush for more precise application. It had opaque pigmentation that dried down to a mostly matte finish that didn’t emphasize my lip lines too noticeably (but there was slight emphasis of my deeper lip lines–you can see in the close-up photo). This shade stayed on well for over seven hours, left a pinkish stain behind, and was neither drying nor hydrating on me.

Formula Overview

$24.00/0.13 oz. – $184.62 Per Ounce

Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color ($24.00 for 0.13 oz.) is supposed to offer “12-hour hold” that feels “weightless” and “one stroke” pigmentation. The formula features a very smooth, fluid consistency that is thin and almost emollient (a little slippery, not watery though), which I have often found harder to control compared to the average liquid lipstick. Part of the lack of control stems from the fact that the formula is quite pigmented, and the curvy applicator seems to hold an excessive amount of product. The end result is that it can be easy to apply more product than one needs, so patience and controlled movements are key to application. It takes a minute to two minutes for it to dry down for the most part with the more recently released shades drying down to a flatter, more matte finish that’s more transfer-resistant. They feel particularly comfortable, as they flex and feel lightweight on, and they aren’t drying at all on me. They last between six and 10 hours on me.

Unattached

Fenty Beauty Unattached Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color ($24.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a bright, medium coral with a matte finish. It was more balanced between pink and orange, which made me think of it as a true coral. The consistency was very fluid, smooth but easy to maneuver along my lips in a way that also made it easy to go beyond the natural edge of my lips if I wasn’t extremely careful about applying. The color dried down and separated along my lip lines, and it seemed to emphasize any imperfections on my lips. It lasted for six and a half hours but was a little drying after five hours of wear.

Chanel White Opal (40) Highlighting Powder Review & Swatches

White Opal (40)

Chanel White Opal (40) Highlighting Powder ($58.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a pale beige base with a subtle pink-to-violet shifting pearl. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, more firmly-pressed consistency that was firm without being stiff to work with, though you’ll want to use a moderately dense or denser brush. It was yielding enough that a fan brush would give a delicate dusting of sheen, but generally, I think most will prefer a moderately dense highlighting brush (like typical tapered ones).

This particular take on this shade has a more powdery base, which was less glowing as it was noticeably powdery on my skin, though, which was its downfall. At very sheer coverage, it was just fine, but to get to a noticeable sheen on my complexion (medium to semi-opaque, blended application), it could have sat better on my skin–and in general, Chanel’s cheek powders (including other shades in this formula) tend to look lovely applied. On me, the highlighter lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview

$58.00/0.3 oz. – $193.33 Per Ounce

Chanel described the powder as having a “sheer, radiant finish,” and I’d expect “sheer” to indicate more of a veil of radiance–it is not the clearest description. There are noticeable sparkles/micro-glitters in both shades released, so I would consider it suitable for someone who likes sparkle and more intense highlighters. The powders applied, blended, and lasted well on my skin.

What would you like to see next when it comes to highlighters?

Temptalia Asks You

I’d love to see more highlighting blushes, but I’d almost like to see this as a full-on trend/product launch, where there’s real thought into making the underlying blush color work with the highlighting effect. I’m thinking in the vein of products like Dior Hologlam, where it really feels like two shades in one but seamlessly applied, and Natasha Denona’s Duo Glows like Pink Champagne (from the Darya palette).

My Experience Of the Product:

Note: I’ve tried on the shade “Natural Brown”.

How to color hair at home naturally?
This is an easy-to-apply product. All you need is to take the desired amount (one full pack) of the product on a glass bowl and pour in some amount (6 times) of water and make a paste which is not too runny and not to thick.

Nisha Herbal Henna Review
henna based hair color
I’ve applied this product for 1 hour as instructed. After 1 hour though the product has not fully dried down, yet I washed it off first with water and then shampooed and conditioned my hair later.
Since I have full on black hair, on my first usage, my hair color changed to a faint brown color which can be noticed whenever my hair hit sunlight. Then I tried it again it once a week for two consecutive weeks, and now I did notice a change in my hair color. I completely love my new hair which appears a beautiful brown. I never thought a henna based hair product can give me such amazing results.

I’ve noticed that it did stain my scalp as well which is pretty obvious since it is a henna based product. But, with continued usage, you can definitely achieve your desired color without using any artificial hair dye.
If you have grey hair, then this is a perfect option to color your hair without any harm. My mother tried on the black version and she loved it.

Did this damage my hair?

No, absolutely no! After washing my hair, it felt very soft. I’d recommend that you shampoo+condition after usage.

Tips & Tricks to Remember:

  • Make sure that you apply vaseline on the exposed skin on your forehead and neck prior application to avoid staining.
  • Use a disposable hand glove to avoid henna stains (It stains your skin very quickly)
  • Make sure to apply section wise.

PROS:

  • Very effective
  • Colors your hair
  • Makes your hair soft and manageable Affordable
  • Easy to apply
  • Easily available

CONS:

  • Stains your scalp (which goes away after 1-2 shampoos)
